CREEEPY!!! But the shot is really amazing.
That is... Bringing back a lot of bad memories. I was so afraid of wolf spiders as a little kid.. They loved to nest under our back deck. I remember why they scared me now.

This is a pretty intense macro shot... Yikes. Upclose they don't even look real...
they do look pretty menacing, but that's the neat thing with wolf spiders; they are totally, completely harmless... they are the fuzzy bunnies, of the spider world.
Are you sure about that? D:
lol they do have venom, but they are extremely non-aggressive.. when i shot this, i was poking her in the head with my finger to get some lint off of her eye, she just sat there and took it, then tried to run away.
Aw.. Well that makes them seem almost endearing.

I'm not sure I'm ready to face one, however... You know, she kind or reminds me of Shelob, but cute and little.
So beautiful! What kind of camera/lens do you use?

the camera was an eight mpxl canon rebel xt, and the lenses were a sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro, along with a canon 50mm F1.4 reverse mounted to the sigma.
